KIMBERLY D. SWANSON is an associate in the Firm’s litigation department. Kimberly’s practice focuses primarily on commercial, business, construction, and real estate disputes, including commercial and residential landlord/tenant matters. She also represents clients in trust and estate litigation matters. Kimberly has hands on trial and appellate level experience.
After 14 years working as a paralegal, Kimberly attended Ave Maria School of Law and graduated magna cum laude in 2019. While in law school, she served as managing editor of the Law Review, and her law review article was published in the Ave Maria Law Review. Kimberly was also awarded the St. Raymond of Penyafort Award for outstanding written advocacy. After her first year of law school, Kimberly clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida, before joining the Firm in January 2018 as a law clerk. While a law clerk with the Firm, she assisted in drafting and editing the 2019 Florida Handbook on Civil Discovery Practice.
Kimberly was raised in Naples and has a passion for this community. She currently provides pro bono services to foster children in Collier County by serving as an attorney-ad-litem and is very active in her church. Kimberly also currently serves on the board of the trial lawyers’ section of the Collier County Bar Association, and she actively participates in continuing legal education seminars. One of Kimberly’s passions is mentoring law students to help encourage and develop the next generation of lawyers.
